WHAT IT IS From the Pure Luxury Collection. A set of 3 recyclable dermaplaning tools to exfoliate dead skin cells, remove peach fuzz and enhance product performance. Made with a stainless steel safety blade and surplus wheat straw bioplastic, this tool is the kinder, gentler (and much more eco-friendly) cousin of a razor. Clean with rubbing alcohol between uses. Imported. 1.75"W x 6.75"H. WHO IS IT FOR Dermaplaning is safe to use on all skin types. WHAT IT DOES Dermaplaning gives the complexion a brighter and more radiant appearance by lightly scraping away old cells and peach fuzz that can make skin look dull. Skincare can come in more direct contact with the skin for improved absorption, and makeup will apply more smoothly. HOW TO USE IT Use on clean, very dry skin. Using one hand to gently pull the skin taut, place the blade almost flat against the skin and make short, light downward strokes. Very little pressure is required. Start at the top of the cheeks, moving down to the bottom of the jawline and then across the cheeks to the inner face. Do not use on or near the nose or around the eyes. When using on the forehead, take care to avoid the hairline and eyebrows. Use 1-2 times per month, AM or PM. Each tool may be used once for a whole face plus an additional 1-2 times for touch ups on small areas such as upper lip or brows. Apply a gently hydrating skincare product such as serums, oils or moisturizers immediately after use. Avoid retinol, acids, enzymes and other exfoliating ingredients for 24 hours after use. Do not use if you have a rash, tan or burn; eczema, psoriasis or flaring rosacea; or if you have active acne. Discontinue use should irritation occur.
